This was a nice addition to morning prayer and meditation。 Read a one paragraph or a few pages at a time。 Not meant to read straight through。 Each prayer is a short paragraph。 Prayers you can go back to over and over， and I’m sure I will again， each based on a verse about who God is。

I started praying through this book a few years ago。Each chapter explains one of 85？ names and Evans prays about the name in the adoration， confession， thanksgiving， supplication grid （ACTS）。Interesting somewhat light on the name explanation at times。

This book is such a blessing introducing the reader the values of the names of God and their meaning while we pray。 I love this concept of leaning in to who God is through His names instead of a god we create with our own knowledge or traditions。
